Terms of service

The plain-English rules for using our website and working with us. Last updated October 25, 2026.

These terms apply to velaztek.com and to the services provided by velaztek Solutions (Velaztek Solutions LLC, “we” or “us”). By using the site, requesting a homepage preview or subscribing to a hosting plan, you agree to them. If you have a signed proposal or agreement with us, that document controls wherever it differs from these terms.

Using this website

You may browse the site and contact us for your own business purposes. Please don’t misuse it, for example by sending spam through our forms, trying to break or overload the site, or copying our content or designs for your own use. The information on the site is general and may change without notice.

Projects and quotes

Website builds, redesigns, branding, SEO, ads management, social media and automation are scoped and priced in a written quote or proposal. The quote sets out the work, the price, the timeline and the payment terms. Work outside that scope, such as extra pages or features, is quoted separately before we start it.

Timelines like “live in about a week” depend on you sending the content, photos, logins and approvals we ask for. Delays on either side move the timeline.

Free homepage preview

A homepage preview is free and comes with no obligation. You only pay if you decide to go ahead. Until you do, the preview design remains ours and may not be used, copied or published without hiring us.

Hosting plans

Our hosting plans are for websites we build and are billed monthly by card.

  • Month to month. There’s no contract, setup fee or cancellation fee. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
  • Switching plans. You can move between plans at any time. The change applies from your next billing date.
  • Cancelling. Cancel by email, phone or from your billing portal. Your site stays online through the month you’ve already paid for. We don’t refund partial months.
  • Leaving us. When you cancel, we hand over your website’s files, text and images and, if we manage your domain, transfer it to you, at no charge.
  • Included changes. Small text and photo updates are included. Larger changes are quoted separately.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 14 days of us letting you know, we may pause the site until the account is up to date.

We work to keep sites online, backed up and secure, but no host can promise 100% uptime. We aren’t responsible for outages caused by our infrastructure providers or events outside our control.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice by email, and you can cancel before a new price takes effect.

Who owns what

Once you’ve paid in full for a project, you own the final website content and design we made for you, and your domain name. You also keep ownership of everything you give us, such as your logo, photos and text, and you confirm you have the right to let us use it.

We keep ownership of our own tools, code libraries, templates and know-how, and you get a permanent license to use them as part of your website. Licensed items like fonts, stock photos and plugins stay under their own license terms. We may show your finished project in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us not to in writing.

Results, ads and third-party platforms

We do our best work for every client, but we can’t guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads or sales. Google, Meta and other platforms control their own algorithms and policies, which change often.

Advertising budgets are paid directly to the ad platform from your account and are separate from our management fees. You remain responsible for your accounts with third-party services, such as Google, Meta, domain registrars and payment providers, and for following their terms.

Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information and respond to requests for content, access and approvals
  • Make sure the content on your site, and your business’s claims, are truthful and lawful
  • Pay invoices and subscriptions on time

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida. Before going to court, we’ll both try in good faith to resolve the issue by talking it through.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don’t affect work already agreed in a signed quote or proposal.
